のみならずNot only...but, Not just...but, What is more

Both mean not only…but also, but differ in register and nuance. に限らず stresses inclusiveness, as in 日本に限らず世界中で使われている (Used not only in Japan but worldwide). のみならず is more formal and often adds additional, sometimes surprising, information, as in 彼は日本語のみならず英語も話せる (He speaks not only Japanese but also English).

はもとより and のみならず both mean 'not only... but also'. はもとより is slightly more formal and can add the nuance of 'let alone' for the first part, emphasizing the inclusion of the second. のみならず is still formal but slightly less so, and puts more of the focus on the second thing being a noteworthy addition on top of the first.

のみならず and だけでなく are essentially synonymous in that they both express non-exclusivity (i.e. 'not only'), but differ in formality. While だけでなく is common in both everyday speech (often appearing as だけじゃなくて) and writing, のみならず is a highly formal expression used primarily in writing and academic contexts. Both phrases are often followed by a noun + も to convey 'not only (A), but also (B)'.

だけ conveys 'only' or 'just.' In contrast, のみならず is a formal expression similar to だけじゃなく, meaning 'not only A, but also B.' While だけ expresses limitation, のみならず emphasizes a lack of restriction.
